Be Refreshed

As mentioned in my prior post, I love to look at Pinterest. I have boards for food, quotes, scripture, etc. Tonight, I was checking it out and I saw a quote. It said: "To the person reading this... I know you are either worried, overwhelmed, struggling in some way, or questioning God; but listen, He loves you and has a plan to bring you out of this stronger, brighter, and better than you were before. Trust the process." Hmm... I can identify with that. But sometimes as we go through our difficult circumstances, we forget that God has a plan. I think the quote could end after that part. When we go through those difficult things,we are often not looking at the end result, because we are wrapped up in the worries and cares of today; and don't I know that! BUT, His plan is to bring you out of those places of darkness and hardships and when you come out you will be stronger and brighter and better than you were before. NO FEAR

I was looking at Pinterest and all sorts of quotes came up about writing; of course, it was intermingled with recipes, scripture, and miscellaneous tips. I love Pinterest! As I was scrolling through, I saw quotes about living with no fear. I can pretend to be fearless, and tell you that I have it all together. Notice that I said "Pretend."Sometimes I can even fool myself into believing that I am fearless! You see, we all have stuff we are afraid about, and God understands that. Insecurity causes us to be afraid (like all those what ifs that are on repeat in our heads "what if I am not good enough; as a person, as a wife, as a mom etc?) Let's unpack fear. The Miriam Webster dictionary defines fear as " (1)   An unpleasant often strong emotion caused by expectation or awareness of danger  (2) Concern about what may happen, Worry." Fear is also irrational. I have a tendency to worry about stuff that will never happen, and I am afraid of the dark! I kno...
