Negativity and Hopefulness

I watched a video blog today. It was a mom talking about what her family life is like because her son has severe autism. It was eye opening and heart-wrenching. As I watched, I realized that many parents (whether or not their child is autistic) go through these types of struggles. I identified with her story but also wanted to weep for her... In her video she expressed that she is not a religious person, but that she pleaded with God to "fix" her child, but that didn't do anything. There are hurting people in our world. Hurting people that need hope, something or someone to hold on to when the going gets tough. Where or what would I be if not for Jesus? A HOT MESS! I appreciated the honesty of the video. I appreciated that the woman was able to express her frustration and be real enough to show her discouragement and disappointment about what the future may hold. I made a decision however, not to post the video to Courtland's HOPE Foundation's page. Whil...
